When you hire a an individual to produce a internet site for your company it's important not to place the awareness on color and layout. Don't forget that a user-friendly internet site can also be a Search Engine Friendly Internet site.

Splash Pages and Flash navigation look excellent but it really can prevent how well search engines like Google index your website.Keep your bells and whistles to a minimum while focusing on a clean layout and 'light' Code that the online search engine spiders can easily skim through and properly index your web site.

Who are you?

A good web designer that's well versed in the Art of SEO will take this information and build it into your web site so it takes the search engines by the hand and tells them incisively who you are and most of all, why you are more essential than other manufacturers who provide the same goods and services.

So what is the point here? Simple. Cooperation as well as working together. Most people want to hire a web designer to build a website for their firm and sit and hold out for the telephone call letting them know its finished without supplying any input at all. Look for a web designer who's ready to work with you and offers references and proof that his SEO Skills are up to snuff. Anyone can throw a dart at the yellow pages...or monitor...and find a graphic designer. After some effort and time you'll find the right web development company who might not always have the cheapest quotes however in the end, whats the point of purchasing an internet site . for one's business enterprise if no one will ever view it?

Check out Long island Web Design for limited time offers on SEO Packages and Social Media Marketing

You say you don't know one reason why your business should have a website. I'll give you a few.

"What is your main website?" The expression is attaining recognition each day. You can not refute that Americans are spending longer on the web as each year passes. Most of us purchase on-line, most of us correspond on-line, most of us study online, most of us watch tv and movies on-line and some of us possibly even earn our livings on-line. Whatever you need to have, at your fingertips, just a mouse click away. How much does this have to do with your current small business? Certainly, if Us residents happen to be enjoying all of this free time on-line, why not advertise your current small business there?

"Internet websites are extremely pricey." I have heard the particular one plenty and if you do a little bit of exploration you can come across an affordable website. When used effectively a website can boost your internet business further than what you imagined was even likely. Additionally, if you examine the price you are paying for other forms of advertising like radio adverts, phone books, billboards, etc. (that may all shortly become out of date because of the net), it just makes real sense.

I really believe that a website is just as crucial as a contact number for your enterprise. I would alternatively search for a enterprise on-line to gain a total view of what they've got to provide me, than to call and ask. Wouldn't you? Take, for instance a movie theater. Most of us all recall phoning to check the showtimes for a movie you really want to see. You listen closely to the recording, if you're fortunate you may be able to push pound and omit through the ones that you do not want to watch, and lastly you find out your movie name and suddenly someone in the house sneezes and you miss about half of the show times. If you should research the website you can check out your movie's showtimes, a explanation on the picture and even check out a movie trailer all in the time it could have taken you to get halfway through the variety of films by using the telephone.

There's even looking up menu's for cafes, prices for programs to get your floor coverings washed, past work of wedding photographers and the list keeps growing. Need I say more?

Check out a website like Webworx. A Long Island Web Design company and we can share with you examples of some other websites we've got designed. Ouch! These days it's tough enough to run a business in this economy. It's even tougher on Long Island. That's why it's important not to be taken advantage of, sometimes it happens without realizing it, or you realize it when it's too late. Webworx is a Long Island Web Design Company and we have first and second hand knowledge of small businesses being taken advantage of. We design websites. Some of our clients are businesses who are looking to move away from their current web design firm. The reason is almost always because of poor customer service.

Whenever a prospective client contacts us there is one question I like to get out of the way as soon as possible. "Do you have a website now?" and If their answer is "yes" my next question is "why are you looking to switch" at this point I will just sit back and listen. Usually when a client comes to us from one of the "big" design firms they are more than happy to talk about their experience from start to finish. It almost always goes a little something like this.

We had "big design firm" develop a website for us. When we first met them we thought they were great. They have great big office with a receptionist and conference room. When we walked in we were greeted by a receptionist who told us that the person they had an appointment with was tied up on another project right now and would they like to wait in the conference room. We thought, wow a conference room, sure we can wait. While we were waiting the receptionist brought in a huge tray of pastries and coffee. We felt as if they couldn't do enough for us. We were really getting the royal treatment. So when we were finally met by the representative it was all teeth and handshakes. " Have you tried the danish?" After a few minutes of chatter we finally got down to business, we watched a 5 minute video presentation on their company and we discussed our vision for the website that will represent our company. When the discussion ended the representative came up with a whole list of options and additional features that were available, there was talk of databases and search engines and how all of this is possible for an additional fee. (Hey, someone has to pay for the Danish.)

When we walked out of the office we had such high expectations, they really made us feel like were important, they set a deadline for our website and told us not to worry about anything else. It was also the last time we saw that sales rep's face. From that day on all of our calls never made it past the receptionist and we were reduced to e-mailing different people working on our website. Sometimes with no response for days. Although the project was finished on time it wasn't exactly what we wanted. we had a specific color scheme in mind and we were told that those colors didn't really work so they "improvised" a little and changed the original concept. The website just didn't feel like a true representation of our company. When we requested changes that should be made, our calls and emails went unanswered.

I've heard this exact scenario more than once. The point is, it doesn't matter how big your staff is, or how shiny the conference room table is, what matters is the experience, the satisfaction and most important of all, the results. The "big" design firms are so worried about paying for their overhead that the client just becomes a number, that's why they give the royal treatment up front and forget you after your final payment clears.

In this case we were able to work with this client and design a website that they were not only proud of but it was the website THEY wanted. They are still with us today. They are still getting the same level of service they got when we first met. We are glad to have them as clients, We treat them and every other client with the respect they deserve. They have been with us for years now and we have even gotten some referrals from them. They are happy, we are happy...and all of this without the receptionist, the conference room or the danish.

Contact us for more information on our web design services in Long Island New York. We would love to work with you.
